Nowadays, “traceability” is a common word in our metrological field. In mass field, it is highly required that a weighing quality management for a high precision balance must need the standard weights which can be traceable with National metrology standard.
The minimum nominal value of a standard weight defining in OIML R111-1:2004 is 1mg, however, so many balance users in a laboratory or factory have to manage their high precision balances; measurement capability is less than 1mg. Using a standard weight for managing a high precision balance is a basic method, but in the sub-milligram (less than 1mg) mass range, it was impossible. This issue had been pointed out.
To solve this issue, Murakami Koki Co., Ltd. started studying and developing a sub-milligram weight. Since Sep. 2015 we has supplied it as a New product. In addition to it, since Jan. 2018 we could have be able to issue the ISO/IEC17025 certificate (JCSS) for sub-milligram weight.
Features
- The weight material is Titanium, enough corrosion resistance and anti-magnetism.
